And coloured! Fixed a couple of things, and rushed the background, but here 'tis...The Grey Wardens Three. From L-R: Hullaballoo, Warden Commander Calea Aeducan, Majella Amell and Aerydd Cousland, from the *koff* slightly AU Dragon Age Origins fanfic "Blight Fill"

The background was originally going to be a screen shot of Soldier's Peak, but I decided to sketch it in; hence the crappiness. Architectural drawings were never a strong point...Sigh. Now, only a squillion more to colour and I can happily retire :D The original sketch did not scan particularly well either so the linework looks weird. Just...don't look too closely.

I'm kinda missing these girls...

Background is just right, you silly rabbit - distinctly fortress architecture, but the shallow depth of field to keep the focus on our heroes, who naturally dominate the environment with their Awesomeness. The detailing in their outfits is wonderful, and those colors simply pop - the spare palate lends a real elegance to the piece.

It is very kind of you to say so, but I did rush it and it was lazy of me to do so considering how much time I spent detailing the girls. On the other hand, it was just going to be random background. Think I'll just fade it back a little more.

They look awesome, Champ! Calea's "giant nug" is so cute with that chunk of hair on top of his head!
Good job on the warden armor, it's one of my favorites.
Oh, and Ella looks so pretty and feminine!

I miss them too, you know...

Thank you! :tighthug: I wanted to make armour that was a bit decorative, but could be used in battle. I think I should have made their chain mail shirts longer though. Ella's look was quite easy to draw, not so easy to colour!

I am loving that collar Hullaballoo is rockin'. :D The embroidery adds a nice bit of detail—their armor's so pretty! :happybounce:

That embroidery...:stupidme: While I am glad to get a chance to redesign their armour, sketching in those teeny tiny leaves would just not stay even.

Baloo's my favourite thing out of this entire pic. Must draw him peeing on the Grand Cleric's robes some time...hm. And thank you so much :D

I don't think I'd want to get on the wrong side of these girls; they'd take me to pieces!
Lovely work, Champ!

Well, Ella's pretty easygoing as long as she doesn't use the dreaded 'have I ever told you how handsome/pretty you are?'. At that point, you should probably run. Preferably to another continent.

Thank you so much! :D

I like the details on their armor, especially on your Amell...:) I love the dog too...especially the expression...:XD:

I also think you did well on the background. Much better than I could have done...:)

Cheers, Sharem. I doubt I could do a better background than you, but thank you all the same!:hug:
